Green Protein Flax Smoothie

Ingredients
  

  • 8 oz water
  • 1 scoop protein powder
  • 2 tbsp ground flax seed
  • 1 medium banana
  • 2 leaves kale
  • 12 leaves spinach
  • 1 handful ice cubes
  • 1 tbsp ground cinnamon

Instructions
 

  • Rinse kale and spinach leaves.
  • Cut or tear all the leaves into about 1 inch pieces and add to the blender.
  • Peal banana and add it, as well as the remaining ingredients, to the blender.
  • If your blender has a frozen drink setting, use it for this. Otherwise pulse on high for 3 second bursts until the majority of the leaves are chopped. Then blend on high for about 1 minute until well blended.
  • Add a handful of ice and blend again for 1 minute until ice is complete blended.
